What this page covers
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. This page lists every cookie this site can set, what it is for, and how to turn it off. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
The one thing to know
We do not sell anything about your visit and we run no cross-site tracking. The optional cookies on this site are Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, and neither of them sets a cookie unless you press Accept. Until you accept, the Google tag runs in consent mode: it sends cookieless, aggregated pings and redacts the advertising signals, so a page view is counted without knowing who read it. You can watch the tag and the consent signal in your browser's network panel and console.
WooCommerce ships an optional "order attribution" tracker that records where a visitor came from. It is switched off on this site, so it does not set cookies here either.
Cookies this site sets
| Cookie | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
rennwick_consent |
Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we do not ask again on every page. | 180 days |
rw_attr |
Strictly necessary | First-party, set by this site only. Remembers the page and the campaign link you arrived on so an enquiry can be credited to the right source. No personal data, not shared with anyone. | 90 days |
wordpress_test_cookie |
Strictly necessary | Checks whether your browser accepts cookies so the site works properly. | Session |
woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* |
Strictly necessary | Keep your basket and your checkout session working while you shop. Only set when you use the shop. | Session, up to 2 days |
_ga, _ga_G-LZJ69L359H |
Analytics — optional | Google Analytics 4. Tells us which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the site is working. Set only after you press Accept; before that the tag runs without cookies. | Up to 13 months |
_gcl_au |
Advertising — optional | Google Ads. Set only if you pressed Accept and only when a Google Ads campaign sent you to this site, so we can tell which ad produced an enquiry. Redacted before you accept. | Up to 90 days |
If you log into this site as an administrator, WordPress also sets login cookies. Those are strictly necessary and only appear when you sign in.
Accepting, rejecting, and changing your mind
You choose with the banner when you first arrive. To change your choice at any time, use this button:
Press it and the banner returns; choose Reject and analytics stops. Google Analytics may already have loaded on the page you are on, so reload the page after changing your mind to be sure it is gone. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings — the site still works.
Who else is involved
If you accept analytics, Google processes the data for us as a processor. We do not share visit data with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
