AI reputation report: what do AI assistants say about your business?
AI reputation report: what do AI assistants say about your business?
Your customers ask ChatGPT, Gemini and the rest what they think of you, and they get an answer. If that answer is thin, wrong or out of date, it is your reputation, decided by a machine you never briefed. An AI reputation report shows you what the assistants are saying.
Why your AI reputation is separate from your Google one
A search result links to pages you can see and fix. An AI assistant summarises: it pulls from many sources, compresses them, and answers in its own words. That produces two new problems.
- Compression errors. The assistant can merge two businesses, pick up an old review, or state something you changed years ago as if it were current.
- No corrections channel. You cannot claim an AI answer the way you claim a Google listing. The only lever is your own source material, made clearer and more authoritative.
What a reputation report actually tells you
A useful report answers concrete questions: what the assistant says when asked about you, where it got that, and whether it is accurate, current and complete. The value is the gap between what the AI says and what you would want it to say.
What to do once you know
The fix is usually simple: correct the source pages the assistant draws on, add a clear factual about page it can cite, and make the specific claims you want repeated easy to find and quote. Correcting your own facts requires no gaming. Re-check the answer whenever your name, services or key facts change. A stale answer is the most common kind of wrong answer.
Getting the report
Our AI Reputation Report runs that check for you: it queries the assistants, captures what they say, and reports the gaps so you know precisely what to correct. If you would rather have us fix the source pages too, see our Done-for-you Website Content.
