The install, day by day: seven days from first call to handover
The install, day by day: seven days from first call to handover
A fixed price means something only if the work behind it is fixed too. The whole install follows, in the order it happens, so you know what you are buying and when it ends.
One call comes first. You describe the three admin tasks that eat your week. We say whether this fixes them. If it does not, we say so, and you have lost fifteen minutes.
Day 1: Fit
About an hour, working. We map every way an enquiry reaches you, by phone, form, inbox or social message, and what should happen to it. You approve a one-page map, and nothing gets built before you have. The rest of the week is measured against that page.
Day 2: Install
We create your own server in your name, set up backups, and deploy the agent onto it. By the end of the day it exists and it runs. It still knows nothing about your business.
Day 3: Connect
We connect and test your email, phone number, calendar and CRM end to end. A real enquiry goes through the whole path while we watch it land in all three places. The day often turns up something about the way your systems actually talk to each other. That is why it gets a full day and not an afternoon.
Day 4: Teach
We load your prices, your service area, your opening hours, your tone of voice, and the things the agent must never say. You review what it will say before it speaks to anybody. Rules like "never quote a price on the phone" go in on this day.
Day 5: Test
We run real enquiries through it while you watch. Your enquiries, on your own systems. Faults get fixed the same day. By the end you have a test sheet with every case passing. Anything still waiting on a decision from you gets its own list.
Day 6: Handover
We record a walkthrough of the whole thing, so you can rewatch it later without us. A runbook in plain English. Every password, handed over. The spending cap agreed, so the running cost stays bounded.
Day 7: Watch
We watch the first full day live and tune anything that needs it. At the end of it comes the first morning summary, and one every morning after.
What slows an install down
Access, mostly. If your email, calendar, phone and CRM are missing by day one, or your prices by day four, the week pauses and resumes when they arrive. We say this in advance because it is the most common reason an install slips. It is not something we can fix from our side.
